About Events at the Hermitage

The Hermitage Museum strives to offer public programs and events that reflect the Museum’s mission and vision by presenting unique opportunities for visitors to explore all the Hermitage has to offer.  Whether it is through an intimate reception, an informative garden lecture, or an outdoor concert, Hermitage programs are designed to appeal to a wide variety of audiences. Event and program concepts are inspired by the Sloane family legacy and highlight a connection to the Museum’s permanent art collection, a special exhibition, the gardens, or Hermitage history in some way.  The Hermitage continuously seeks to celebrate the strengths of the community by pursuing meaningful partnerships with organizations and individuals.  Along with a desire to provide a one-of-a-kind perspective on the arts, these combined elements enable the Hermitage to offer visitors an ever-changing array of high-quality, engaging experiences to stimulate the appreciation of art and nature.
