The Hermitage is pleased to host an art educator exhibition designed to promote the artwork of Norfolk Public Schools teaching artists. All K-12 art teachers from Norfolk Public Schools were invited to submit one original artwork as part of this exhibition. This exhibition will include works from more than 25 artists and include all media such as painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and ceramics.

The Hermitage Museum maintains a strong partnership with Norfolk Public Schools. The museum’s Education and Public Programs Committee consists of current and retired NPS educators who help foster engaging program opportunities between NPS and the museum. Over the years the museum has hosted a number of NPS student and teacher art exhibitions and regularly hosts NPS students for W.E.T. program tours as well as Traveling through Ancient China tours.
