Join us every other Thursday from May 11 through August 3 for the best party of the summer! Relax on the shoreline and hear live music from the region’s hottest bands. Enjoy drinks from our cash bar featuring craft beer and wine and grab dinner from a variety of food vendors including our premier food truck, Bro’s Fish Tacos. Our summer exhibit, The Art of Burning Man, will be on view during the concerts beginning June 8!

Gates open at 5:30, music starts at 6

  • Well-behaved dogs on leashes permitted
  • No outside alcohol or ball sports are permitted on the grounds
  • Credit cards accepted

*Very limited parking is available on site. Ample street parking is available throughout the surrounding neighborhood. Guests arriving after 6pm may expect to walk from neighborhood parking.

Blues all funked up, tha’ts the recipe. Influenced by The Meters, Mofro, and Col. Bruce Hampton. Mix in a heavy dose of Rory Gallagher, Allman Bros, and simmer in a Gumbo of Muddy, Wolf, and the Three Kings till sweaty and groovin’.

June 22: Galaxy Dynamite! AND DJP and MrT

Galaxy Dynamite is Virginia’s premier award-winning psychedelic electronic rock act. Dubbed ‘The Kings of Space’ by NPR in 2016 and winner of ‘Best Psychedelic / Jam Band in Virginia’ award by VEER Magazine in 2015, 2016 and 2017, GalaxyD has performed more than 400 times delivering their signature blend of furious, frenetic, and absolutely unrelentingly heavy electronic space rock to festivals and clubs around the country.

Described as “a classy bunch of elegant pop alchemists”, DJP and MrT released their first full length in January 2013 – “ambitious, tuneful and gloriously weird. The band updates Thomas Dolby and Soft Cell textures and twists them into something that’s addictive.”

Fan favorite Jesse Chong returns! Jesse is known for his musical versatility and genre blending. What may one night be a reggae band can be a rock or funk act the next.

July 20: BJ Griffin and the Galaxy Groove
BJ Griffin & the Galaxy Groove is a 6 piece band from Virginia Beach, VA. Fronted by the singing cellist BJ, the band has a unique sound that sticks with you well after the show. The Galaxy Groove set list includes a perfect mix of oldies-but-goodies with the newest music out today that keeps you dancing all night long.

FINALE August 3: JANKS with Hot Gumbo Brass Band AND DJ Canrock
We’re staying open until 10pm on our series finale night this year!
JANKS is known for their 20s – 30s influenced Gypsy Jazz and New Orleans style street music. Hot Gumbo Brass Band is a young brass band, a little over a year old, based out of Norfolk. If you like to taste good music, let me hear you say, “YEA!” DJ Canrock is the official DJ of the Get Loose Crew.
