In the fall of 2019, researchers discovered correspondence between Florence Sloane and the painter Douglas Volk that told of a tragic death on the grounds of the Hermitage Museum + Gardens. Join us for this immersive ghost hunting experience as we explore the letters, legal records, and psychic research collected over the past year in an attempt to understand what lies BENEATH THE SURFACE.
This limited-run theatrical event is presented in conjunction with Patrick Mullins, the Virginia Stage Company, and Norfolk State University Theatre Company. Additional support from Warehouse of Theatre, CORE Theatre Ensemble, and Velvet Witch. Ages 18+
