FALL PUMPKIN SUCCULENT ARRANGEMENTS

It’s time to start decorating for fall! Create a beautiful succulent arrangement in a real pumpkin in this exciting new workshop. Give this unique gift to your Thanksgiving host or keep the arrangement on your porch or dining room table for month. These super cute mini pumpkin succulent arrangements are easy and sustainable. You’ll be giving your family, friends, and neighbors ‘pumpkin’ to talk about when they see this unique centerpiece. Each pumpkin measures about 7 inches, can last up to 12 weeks. When you are ready to toss the pumpkin, simply peel back the layer of moss and replant the succulents in another planter to continue to grow.

CERAMIC HOLIDAY LIGHTED TREE

Looking to enhance your holiday décor this season? This workshop teaches students easy clay hand building techniques to make ceramic holiday trees from slabs. Students will use mini cookie cutters to pierce the slabs so light can shine through. During the first class session students can make 1 to 3 trees depending on skill level and intricacy of design of cutouts. The second class will be spent glazing their one-of-a-kind creations. Workshop includes clay, glaze, and firing. No previous experience required, all levels welcome.

HARDWOOD SNOWFLAKE ORNAMENTS

Learn to make holiday ornaments using the same skills utilized by basket weavers. These three-dimensional ornaments are woven out of Maplewood and are great holiday gift toppers or home decor. This workshop is a great introduction to weaving. Learn to weave a hardwood ornament in this one-day workshop.

ORIGAMI: HOLIDAY DECORATIONS

Wednesday, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Ages 10 and up

Create your own colorful origami ornaments and decorations! Using a variety of foils and Asian papers students will make ornaments that can hang on a holiday tree, decorate gift packages or mantles, or serve as party decorations any time of the year. Students will learn techniques that can be used to make additional ornaments at home without any special equipment needed.
