An exhibition showcasing the work of this contemporary, cutting-edge sculptor.
Featuring sculpture, wall reliefs and drawings, Works by Tory Fair confronts the viewer with questions about the real and the imagined by incorporating life-sized, fantastical sculptures of human forms haloed by incredibly detailed flowers—all which appear to be sinking into the floor or walls.
Inspired by her childhood spent on a 200-year old farm, the flowers in Fair’s work represent ideas and their potential, evoking a feeling of mystery and anticipation. This collection calls to mind concepts of nature, space, borders and looking beyond oneself to explore growth and emotions and is a surprising step away from the expected.
