Little Thoughts: Recent Works by Abigail Ketcham

Abigail KetchumThis show is a collection of my recent works in 3D and 2D mixed media. I made each piece with found objects and materials that are natural yet colorful. This series works to tell a wide range of stories that are simple and innocent. Each work has a hint of irony and humor. I also seek to explore my spirituality in a comprehendible way that allows the viewer to understand my beliefs. The works are illustrative in nature and have a child storybook feel to them. I have always made stories up in my mind and these works are interpretation of those thoughts that function together to create my visual diary.

Scourge- Works by Sarah Dickerson

Sarah Dickerson“Scourge”, featuring Governor’s School senior Sarah Dickerson’s artworks, incorporates a range of media, including drawings, paintings, prints and mixed media artworks. In this exhibition, Sarah Dickerson explores the themes of self-identity and remembrance, and utilizes the visual arts as a method of autobiography. Her work presents movement and a visceral approach to the human psyche.
